Piano Duet Videos
An unforgettable aspect of Jessica's events is the invitation she extends to join her at the piano--experience not necessary. As well as being an award-winning pianist, Jessica Roemischer makes it possible for everyone--regardless of age, background or even the presence of a developmental disability--to access his or her true voice through music. Her Duet Paradigm(R) led to a nomination for a CNN Heroes Award, and has been supported by the Boston Symphony Orchestra, and Caroline and James Taylor. She presented a paper on this unique experience at the Oxford Round Table, Oxford University, England, where she'll be performing again in 2015. Jessica's vision: a community of participants that become one in a rare and blessed experience of the Divine.
"Jessica offers nothing less than the realization of beauty, joy, and enduring humanity. She has poked a window from here to the other side--a way of seeing into truth where no fear can have sway." Carrie Vanderwagen, Berkeley, CA
"Flying Free: Music Without Limits" - An unforgettable performance of duets with the women of Riverbrook Residence, New England's oldest facility for women with developmental disabilities. This performance was supported by Caroline and James Taylor, the Boston Symphony Orchestra's Community and Education Program, Shakespeare & Co., and Miss Hall's School for Girls. Jessica's work with women with disabilities earned her a 2012 CNN Heroes Award nomination.
